One day a man from the country of
Transylvania visits him. This man is from the village of Victor's grandfather.
He says that Victor's grandfather is dead and Victor must go to his grandfather's
castle.
When he arrives in Transylvania, Victor meets old Igor from the castle.

Igor is happy to see Victor. They go to the castle and Victor decides to complete the work of his grandfather. He wants to make a man, using electricity. |

The creature lives, but is frightened and runs away
He meets the people of the village but they do not like him because he is ugly. He meets a blind man.
The blind man is kind to him, gives him food and teaches him to speak and read.
But the creature feels lonely and wants a companion. The creature finds Victor and says that Victor must make him a wife. Victor refuses. The villagers are now angry and want to destroy the monster.
